University of Pittsburgh

Technology Leadership Initiative

Providing high school students opportunities, tools, and motivation to excel in Computer Science.

Parents

TLI is an opportunity for your student to get a head start on their career in computers and technology. Is your student interested in Web design? Robotics? or Computer Programming? Then TLI is for your son or daughter!

Your daughter or son will spend three weeks at the University of Pittsburgh working with Computer programming, Web design, and Robotics. In addition to the classes, they will interact with college students, professors and Information Technology professionals. In previous years, guest speakers included Dr. Rebecca Hwa who introduced us to Artificial Intelligence, as well as visits from Microsoft and Compunetix.

If your child is interested in computers and technology, it's time they get a head start by spending some time at TLI!

Application deadlines for programs are June 8th. Students should apply early!
